This song has an incredibly catchy riff!!! Here are some "How-To" videos for you this week. Happy Practicing! Drum Cover "How To" for DRUMS (This kid is adorable and also amazing.) Don't forget to subdivide! "How To" for GUITAR - this includes the riff and chords. You can also play it without a capo if you are not playing along with the recording and it will be transposed down 3 semi-tones. It might even be easier to sing here! Try a few different capo positions until you find the best place for your voice. "How To" on PIANO. The chords are Fm (F/Ab/C), Cm (C/Eb/G), Eb (Eb/G/Bb) and Bb (Bb/D/F). Don't forget that you can slow down Youtube videos by clicking on the settings in the bottom right of the video, and then changing the playback speed! "How To" on BASS. This is the best one I could find, but unfortunately done on a 5-string bass. The lowest string is tuned to Bb so on a 4-string bass you will need to leave out any notes on that string. You can try moving them up to a higher place. I'll keep searching!

Hello! I am missing our weekly rehearsals! I did some digging and found instructional videos for each instrument in the rock band. If you have an instrument at home, you can use some of the time you have to practice! I will try and post some new songs here regularly, but for now here is the song "Dance Monkey" we were working on. I have posted a video for each instrument, but you can always learn a new part too if you'd like! Drums Bass - This is played on a 5-string bass, so keep that in mind when watching. There is an added lower string. Piano Guitar Solo Vocals |
